MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA-(24-12-2004) Yachting Australia's head coach Victor Kovalenko has announced that there will be a free coaching clinic held for all competitors in the Sail Melbourne Olympic and Invited Classes Regatta on the 7th, 8th and 9th of January 2005. This immediately preceded the start of the event and is open to all sailors from all countries to attend if they wish.
Victor has invited some of the top coaches in the country to attend the coaching clinic, including Olympic Team Coaches, National Coaches, State High Performance Coaches and AIS Scholarship coach.
The clinic will be held at Sandringham Yacht Club, Jetty Road , Sandringham, Victoria - the host club to the event.
The format of the clinic will be a 2-hour education session, including one-hour presentation from a high performance coach, followed by an open forum for discussion on the day's topic. The topics chosen for this are Weather, Tactics and Speed.
6pm: Friday 7th January - Topic Weather
6pm: Saturday 8th January - Topic Tactics
5pm: Sunday 9th January - Topic Speed

The Sail Melbourne Olympic and Invited Classes regatta is open to all competent Olympic Class sailors and we greatly encourage all those interested in participating to seize this opportunity to not only sail with some of the world's best sailors but to now attend a coaching clinic run by some of Australia's best coaches.
